CanYa Wag is run by high schoolers with a love for dogs and a passion for making a difference.
We set out to create dog accessories that are stylish, meaningful, and kind to both people and the planet.

 

Every collar is authentically handmade by women artisans in Kenya using ethically sourced, vegetable-tanned leather, glass beads, and recycled brass buckles. These natural, durable materials support sustainable practices while honoring traditional beadwork passed down through generations — empowering Kenyan women with fair wages and financial independence.

Inspired by our own rescue pups, our sales help support Adopt a Doggie, which rescues dogs in Taiwan, 4 Dogs Farm Rescue, which rescues dogs in Mexico, and the Peninsula Humane Society here in California. Together, we’re building a global community where continents support one another. From Africa to Asia to North America, every purchase becomes part of a shared effort to empower artisans, rescue dogs, and protect the planet.
